Type by sliding
A compact slide keyboard with large keys and full text navigation. Letters, digits and symbols are entered with a tap and a short slide.
Thanks to the large keys, touch typing comes naturally — no special training needed.

Letters, digits, symbols
One key holds two letters: the near one on a tap, the far one on a short slide. A long slide reaches rare letters, a vertical one digits, an arc symbols. Pick a gesture and see how it works.

Two letters in one gesture
A long slide across the neighbouring key types two letters at once, and a slide with a return types the same two in reverse. Frequent combos come out in a single motion, without lifting your finger.

Deleting and layouts
A slide on the delete key erases a character, a longer one several in a row. Rub back and forth like an eraser and it deletes a character per stroke. Slides on a single key switch layouts — to the last, first or any other.

Case and selection
An up-slide on Shift types the first uppercase letter or turns on text-selection mode. An arc slide locks Caps Lock.

Two halves on a wide screen
On a wide screen the keyboard splits in two — one half per thumb. Between the halves sits the infinity sign, the Hlider logo.

Alt layer: typography
The symbol Alt layer holds typographic marks and extra letters — dashes, quotes, arrows, math. All with the same sliding.

Ergonomic layouts
The “Hlider” layouts put frequent letters on taps and alternate hands. The one-handed layout fits a single thumb; the double one-handed one mirrors the letters onto both halves, so hands alternate completely. Everything is built in — nothing to buy. Switch and compare.

Chinese, Japanese, Korean
Hanzi are typed with the same slides. Pinyin turns into characters — candidates appear above the keyboard, the dictionary ships inside the app. Romaji is assembled into hiragana and katakana on the fly, jamo into Hangul syllables.
Every engine runs offline: not a single keystroke leaves the device.

Dictionaries for long words
The dictionary suggests the rest of a word right on the keys: external dictionaries on an up-slide, your own on a down-slide. Abbreviations expand into whole phrases on Tab.
On Android dictionaries install as separate apps: Hlider Lexicon — 1.5 million words for Russian, 370 thousand for English. On iOS the English, Russian, German, Spanish and French dictionaries are already built in.
Dictionaries never go online for a suggestion, and stay silent in password and number fields.

Settings right on the keyboard
A dedicated settings layer — without leaving the app you are typing in. Split the keyboard in two or join it back, shift it left, centre or right to fit your hand, switch the theme, mute the sound, hide the letters for touch typing, start voice input.

Text navigation
Move the cursor straight from the keyboard — by character, by word, to the start or end of a line. Return and circular slides repeat the step as needed. Horizontal navigation works on both iOS and Android; moving by line and page is Android-only.

Numeric pads
Separate layers with calculator and phone digit arrangements — for fast one-handed entry of numbers and phone numbers. Switch and compare.

Clipboard and editing
Copy, paste, cut, undo and redo — with a single slide, the scheme depends on whether text is selected. These are the system hotkeys Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V, Ctrl+Z, which a keyboard extension on iOS cannot send to other apps.

Modifiers and hotkeys
The modifier layer gives Ctrl, Alt, Meta, Escape, Insert and the function keys. Cyrillic letters map to Latin by their QWERTY position — so any app hotkey works without switching the layout. Emulating hardware keys is impossible on iOS.

Function layer
The full key set of a desktop keyboard: F1–F12, Esc, Insert, undo, NumLock, CapsLock, PrintScreen, ScrollLock, Pause/Break — with a numeric pad next to them. For a terminal, an editor or a remote desktop from your phone.

Fast navigation layer
One hand holds a modifier — Ctrl, Shift, Alt or a pair of them — while the other spins the arrows in the centre: character, word, line, page, start and end. With Shift the same moves select text. Select all, undo and paste sit right there.

Your own layouts
A layout is just text: arrange letters, symbols and macros to fit your hand right in the editor. Colours live there too — your own scheme for the light and the dark theme, and even a separate one per app, so a terminal doesn’t look like a messenger.
